Our Story

Since as far back as I can remember I’ve been at peace in the kitchen, I call it kitchen zen. We have been working to transform our land into as much space for me to garden as we possible can. We expand our gardens more and more each year. A few years ago our much loved addition were our ducks. This helped launch our life into homesteading as The Rod Homestead was beginning to grow. I have been proud to create homegrown handmade goods for local farmers markets including Collingswood as well as Burlington County.

With many more people interested in adding healthy homemade homegrown options into their lives we’ve decided to open our business to the public with the option to ship nationwide! With the exception of our duck eggs we try to ship as many of our products as possible. Our eggs ARE available for local pick up or delivery if you’re lucky enough to be close to us.
